Our Story
Wanderers Golf Club
Proudly serving golfers since 1939.
Founded in 1939, The Wanderers Golf Club is one of Johannesburg's most centrally located courses, set in the leafy suburb of Illovo at Kent Park. The Bob Grimsdell-designed parklands layout is rated among the best in Gauteng, favouring shot-makers with narrow tree-lined fairways and undulating terrain. The club is renowned for its warm, social membership and vibrant 19th hole, attracting many of South Africa's top sportsmen and women over the decades.

Pro Shop
The Wanderers Golf Shop, operated by Golf Pro Worx, is affiliated to the PGA of South Africa. Leaders in custom fitting with qualified professionals available 7 days a week. Rental clubs available: 18 holes R600 / 9 holes R300. Teaching academy on site for juniors and seniors.
Operating Hours
Tuesday to Sunday 06:30; Monday from 08:00. Restaurant closes 19:00-20:00 depending on day.
